New Etude House products released.

Etude House has just launched some new products including a new collection of mini sized products. It’s a Hello Kitty themed collection of minis including lipglosses, tints and mascara which are small enough to attach to mobile phones, purses or anything with a loop. I’m not gonna haul because I’ve never ended up using mini products when I’ve bought them but Hello Kitty megafans should keep an eye out. The products are really similar to the Bourjois minis range.

The “Oh m’Eye Lash” mascara range, including primer, mascaras and top coat have been relaunched in new packaging. These are cheap and good basic mascara products which I’ve used before and can recommend.

There’s also a range of perfumed lip balms, actually called lip perfumes. These are not on the site yet but out in the stores in Korea. They have cute little girl illustrations on the packaging and lid but unfortunately I can’t stand the fragrances which are very sickly synthetic fruity floral. Seeing as your lips are just under your nostrils, having to inhale a strong scent on your lip balm is distracting and also blocks other more pleasant scents from getting through (like my perfume of the day: Annick Goutal Eau de Charlotte. Mmmm). The lip balms have no visible pigmentation which shows up when applied, they just go on as clear.

The girl illustrations also feature on a trio of new tinted lip balm sticks.

My kawaii packaging ego perked up when I saw these mini fragrance mists. Me thinks the idea is a slight rip-off of the Gwen Stefani Harujuku Lovers perfumes and the Kenzo Flower Matrioshka special edition packaging but they’ve got their own cute twist. (Anyone want to hazard as guess as to what the strap line “My love coach” means???)
